Graduate Certificate of Climate Change Adaptation, Griffith University

After being motivated by the work of climate scientists to seek out ways I could learn about and contribute to real-world solutions to the climate crisis, I took a leap and enrolled in this graduate certificate. Designed as an interdisciplinary program for students from all backgrounds, it provided me an opportunity to learn more about the science of climate change, policymaking, and a variety of adaptation solutions.

I started this degree with an interest in game development, but the wide range of courses available allowed me to explore many different skills, including: UI design; photography, videography, and film editing; sound editing; programming; web development; app development; 3D modelling; and game development. Ultimately, I fell in love with web design and decided to pursue that for my career!
